Buy Now, Pay Later Challenge

What is the Buy Now, Pay Later challenge? +

Buy Now, Pay Later is a one-step crypto evaluation that lets you start for a small upfront fee. If you pass the evaluation, you then pay the remaining fee to activate your funded account.

The evaluation is built to be flexible, there is:

  • No daily drawdown limit,
  • No minimum trading days,
  • No consistency score requirement.

Hit a 4% profit target while staying within an 8% maximum drawdown, and you unlock a funded account that keeps 100% of your profits (subject to funded-stage rules).

Why does it only cost a small amount upfront? +

The low entry fee keeps the challenge accessible. With Buy Now, Pay Later, you get access to the evaluation for a small upfront cost, and you only pay the remaining fee after you pass. You prove you can follow the rules and hit the target before paying the full price.

Is there a daily drawdown limit in the evaluation? +

No. The evaluation has no daily drawdown limit during Phase 1. This gives you more room to trade through crypto volatility and news events without a single bad session ending your run.

How does the 8% maximum drawdown work in the evaluation phase? +

The 8% maximum drawdown in Phase 1 is static — it is calculated from your starting balance and does not trail. It is measured on an end-of-day (EOD) basis.

Example: On a $10,000 account, your end-of-day balance must never fall below $9,200 during the evaluation stage. This is the only hard risk limit during Phase 1.

Can I trade news and high-volatility events in the evaluation phase? +

Yes. News and event trading is fully permitted during the evaluation with no restrictions. You can trade around major catalysts, hold through high-impact moves, and trade volatility freely throughout Phase 1.

What are the funded stage rules? +

Once funded, additional rules apply that do not exist in the evaluation phase:

  • 3% daily End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown limit, resetting at 00:00 UTC each day
  • Maximum drawdown changes to 5% trailing (EOD), calculated from your funded balance
  • 20% consistency score required before each withdrawal.
  • Withdraw lock applies. This means if you generate a profit of $1,000. Your drawdown becomes $1,000. This means if you withdraw $500, then your max drawdown is now $500.

What stays the same:

  • News and event trading remains allowed
  • No minimum trading days
  • You keep 100% of your profits
How is the consistency score calculated? +

A consistency score is a measure of how consistent your trading is. It is calculated as: (your biggest winning day ÷ total profit) × 100%. This must be 20% or below to withdraw. You can only withdraw from your instant account when your consistency score is 20% or below. This is calculated by (your winning day / total profit) * 100%. If your consistency score is above 20% then you have to keep on trading in order to get that number below 20%.

Example: ($5,000 account)

  • Day1: +$600
  • Day2: +$450
  • Day3: +$500
  • Day4: +$700
  • Day5: +$800.

The total profit is $3,050. The highest day is $800. Therefore the consistency score is 26.2%. In order to get beneath 20%. The total profit must be greater than $4,000, as $800 / $4000 = 20%.

What is the daily drawdown limit on the funded account? +

The funded stage has a 3% daily End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown limit. It is calculated on your balance or equity (whichever is higher) at the start of each day (00:00 UTC) and resets at 00:00 UTC.

Example: On a $10,000 funded account, you cannot drop more than $300 below your start-of-day level. Breaching this limit deactivates the funded account.

How does the 5% maximum drawdown work on the funded account? +

On the funded account the maximum drawdown becomes trailing, set at 5% and measured end-of-day. It follows your highest end-of-day equity point, so as your account grows the breach level rises with it.

Example: Funded at $10,000 with a 5% trailing max drawdown, your starting breach level is $9,500. If your end-of-day equity climbs to $11,000, your new trailing level becomes $10,450 ($11,000 − 5%). Drop below the current trailing level and the account breaches.

What is the profit split? +

The profit split is 100% in your favour, you keep all of the simulated profits generated on your funded account. This applies from your very first withdrawal and does not change with account size.

WenCrypto's Genesis Challenge

What is the Genesis Challenge? +

Genesis is our "withdraw-any-day" challenge. You can request a withdrawal whenever you want, even on day one.

Here's the twist: the more winning trading days you stack, the higher your reward split level gets.

Who is this for? +

Traders who are ready to take on a challenge and experience a new take on trading. Unlock levels, move through a real journey, and show off what you achieve. (Coming soon)

What counts as a winning trading day? +

A winning trading day is when you gain more than 1% of the initial account balance, calculated at the time the trade is closed. This gains you 1 reward split level. Your day tracker resets at 00:00 UTC.

Example: You open a BTCUSD long at 23:54 on Jan 13 and close it at 00:06 on Jan 14. If the trade gains 2%, that counts as one winning trading day on Jan 14.

The profitable day is calculated as the sum of closed trades within that 24h period between 00:00 UTC and 23:59 UTC.

What counts as a losing trading day? +

A losing trading day is when you lose more than 1% of the initial account balance, calculated when the trade is closed. This loses you 1 reward split level.

Example: You open a trade at 23:54 on Jan 13 and close it at 00:06 on Jan 14. If the trade loses 2%, that counts as one unprofitable trading day on Jan 14.

What if a day is neutral? +

A day that is neither a winning trading day or a losing trading day is neutral. This means you did not make 1% profit or lose 1%, you will stay at the reward split level that you're currently on.

Can I go below level 1? +

No. If you have a losing day on level 1, you still remain at level 1.

How does the reward split work? +

Your reward split moves up and down based on your number of winning trading days.

  • Each winning day moves you up the ladder
  • Each losing day moves you down
  • If you withdraw, you reset back to the initial balance and start your ascent again.

Why do I go back down the ladder? Because we're not rewarding YOLO roulette. The ladder is designed to encourage you to grow through consistent, sustainable trading.

What are the drawdown limits in Genesis? +

The max drawdown is 4%, and it's End of Day trailing.

That means you can never drop more than 4% below your highest equity.

Example: If your account reaches $105,000 at 00:00 UTC, your breach level becomes $100,800.(4% of 105,000 = 100,800).

What is my reward split? +

Your reward split scales based on the amount of winning trading days you've achieved.

Each winning day increases your reward split level however, each losing day decreases it. A day that is neither is considered neutral.

Simply put: Winning days - Losing days = Total Levels Moved Up

Scenario: In this scenario you have 3 Winning days, one Neutral, and one Losing.

Day 1 Day Two Day 3 Day 4 Day 5
1.2% 1.5% -0.7% 2.3% -1.9%
Winning Winning Neutral Winning Losing

Winning days (3) - Losing days (1) = Total Levels Moved Up → 3-1 = 2

In this scenario you would move up 2 total reward split levels over the five days you traded.

What is the maximum reward split? +

The maximum reward split is 109%, achieved after you reach 14 reward levels.

When can I withdraw? +

Any time you have winning trading days. You can withdraw once per day. Once you withdraw you restart from your initial balance (level 1) and ascend again. You get a full refund of the account once you reach level 10!

What happens if I breach the account? +

If you breach, the account is closed. You lose access and you can't withdraw from it.
